Built for a small number of clients each year, the Pacific Off-Road Signature combines an exceptional original European Defender with a carefully developed specification for modern performance, comfort and everyday reliability.
With a brand new engine, new automatic transmission, performance suspension, leather interior, premium entertainment system, upgraded brakes and extensively renewed mechanical systems, the Signature offers the closest experience to starting fresh with a classic Defender while preserving the character and timeless design that make these vehicles special.

IT STARTS WITH THE RIGHT DEFENDER
A Signature is only as good as the Defender beneath it. Every commission begins with the same sourcing standards as our Classic Defenders: exceptional original condition, original paint, straight panels, clean history and an exceptionally clean chassis sourced from a dry European climate, free from structural corrosion. We do not begin with neglected vehicles requiring major structural restoration. We believe the best Defender starts with an exceptional original foundation. After more than 100 Defender imports, finding that foundation remains the most important part of what we do.
THE SIGNATURE SPECIFICATION
Every Signature is commissioned as a complete vehicle rather than a collection of individual upgrades. The specification has been developed from years of importing, driving and improving classic Defenders, focusing on the areas that make the greatest difference to reliability, performance, and comfort.
BRAND-NEW 2.4L PUMA TURBO DIESEL
Every Signature receives a brand-new, zero-kilometre UK-supplied Puma engine, providing a fresh mechanical foundation for long-term ownership. New supporting components include the turbocharger, starter, water pump, sensors, belts and pulleys.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
For a more effortless, daily-friendly driving experience, we provide a manual-to-automatic conversion using a brand new Land Rover automatic transmission.

THE PROCESS
01 | CHOOSE YOUR MODEL & COLOUR
Start by choosing your preferred Defender model: 90, 110 or 130, followed by your ideal factory colour.
The original colours we most commonly source include Keswick Green, Stornoway Grey, White and Black, although other factory colours can be requested.

02 | SOURCE
We search our European network for the best available Defender matching your preferences and our strict condition standards.
Once we find the right example, we provide the vehicle details, photos and history for your review before arranging a professional inspection in Europe.
03 | INSPECT, APPROVE & RESERVE
Once the inspection confirms that the Defender meets our standards, we will discuss the results and provide supporting photographs for final approval.
A $50,000 refundable reservation then secures the vehicle and allows Pacific Off-Road to proceed with the purchase and import process.
04 | IMPORT & COMMISSION
The Defender is purchased and exported to Canada, where it undergoes a comprehensive mechanical inspection and renewal before being completed to the full Pacific Off-Road Signature specification.
05 | DELIVERY
Your completed Signature Defender is thoroughly inspected, road-tested and professionally detailed before final delivery.
Typical timeline: approximately 6 months from reserving your approved Defender in Europe to final completion in Canada.

Pacific Off-Road's primary focus remains sourcing exceptional original Defenders. Signature commissions are therefore intentionally limited, allowing us to maintain the attention and quality required for each vehicle.
