After more than 100 Defender imports and over a decade of experience, our Signature Build reimagines the classic Land Rover Defender. Rebuilt as new to modern standards of reliability, safety and design --- while preserving its unmistakable nostalgic appeal.
Each build begins with a carefully selected Land Rover Defender sourced in the best original condition possible. We avoid neglected vehicles that require structural repairs or corrosion restoration. —importing only top-tier originals as the foundation for every build.
Upon arrival, every import is inspected and mechanically overhauled by the Defender specialists Rovalution Automotive in North Vancouver.
​ The Defender then returns to our Squamish facility, where the full Signature transformation begins. From a new engine, Fox suspension, billet wheels, oversized brakes, a reimagined leather interior, and carefully chosen modern design upgrades—every element is renewed to deliver a Defender that feels brand new, without losing its original character.

Every Signature Build is delivered turn-key with the following upgrades as standard:

​NEW ENGINE
Long term reliability and lifespan is priority. In a Signature Build, a Brand New factory engine is installed. That is a brand new UK supplied 2.4L Turbo diesel Puma engine, not rebuilt, starting you off at ZERO km. This also includes new accessories such as the starter, water pump, vacuum pump, belt, pulleys, new sensors and engine mounts.
INTERIOR COMFORT PACKAGE
The interior receives a full luxury transformation, blending handcrafted leather materials with modern comfort.
The front seats and second-row bench are replaced with custom leather seating. For the 3rd row, choose either matching third-row seats or an open configuration for more cargo space.
Choose from four front seat designs: Recaro Classic, Corbeau Sport, Heritage, or Premium Mono. All heated of course, with a matching luxury centre console found between. Black leather with black stitching is most popular, though alternate colours and finishes are available—brown or tan leather, with details in diamond stitching, fluted, or perforated.
Black carpet is fitted throughout, with key dash panels wrapped in matching leather. Shifters are upgraded to billet aluminum, leather-wrapped units with matching gaiters. The door and roof handles are replaced with billet aluminum leather-wrapped grab handles. Lower door sills are finished with brushed stainless caps. Choose either a factory steering wheel or a genuine wood wheel.
Electric windows, keyless central locking, and air conditioning come standard on all Signature Builds.
SUSPENSION
Ride quality is one of the biggest differences between a stock Defender and a Signature Build. Our suspension package is engineered for comfort, control, and long-term corrosion resistance—transforming how the vehicle drives in the city, on the highway, and through corners, not just off-road.

FOX Performance 2.0 shocks on all four corners, with rear piggyback reservoirs for improved heat management

German Eibach progressive-rate coil springs to smooth the harsh factory ride. We typically fit a 1.5” lowered stance for a more modern posture, improved cornering, and better clearance for garage height restrictions. Standard-height springs are available on request.

Galvanized heavy-duty suspension mount kit, stainless plates and hardware for corrosion resistance and longevity.

Complete undercarriage bushing replacement using PolyBush Dynamic polyurethane bushings with custom stainless sleeves. Most hardware and flanges are upgraded to A4 marine-grade stainless steel.

Heavy-duty solid stainless steel track rod and drag link, paired with upgraded ball joints for strength and service life.
These upgrades are essential to ensure the Defender drives tight, feels refined, and stays protected against the elements for years to come.

The result is braking that feels modern and composed—significantly stronger than stock, better suited to wet coastal climates, and visually striking behind billet wheels.
BILLET WHEELS
Every Signature Build is fitted with five 18x9 forged billet wheels in satin black, exclusively made for Pacific Off-Road. When we couldn’t find a billet wheel worthy of a Defender at this level, we engineered our own—We have two design options to choose from.
Machined from a solid block of aluminum and then forged under heat and pressure, these wheels deliver exceptional strength and precision, with superior resistance to cracking and corrosion in wet Canadian climates. They’re secured with one-piece CNC heavy-duty black lug nuts for a clean, purposeful finish.

PERFORMANCE PACKAGE
A noticeably quicker, more effortless Defender—engineered to deliver safe, reliable performance. Expect 40% more horsepower and 30% more torque over stock
(122 bhp / 330 Nm → 175 bhp / 420 Nm).

High-Flow Stainless Exhaust built in the UK for Pacific Off-Road.
TIG-welded 2.5” 304 stainless with a refined 3” tip. The two restrictive factory silencers are replaced with a single high-flow muffler, along with a high-flow stainless down pipe—improving flow, reducing back pressure, and lowering EGTs for long-term engine health. Deeper tone, still civil. -
Larger Intercooler & Silicone Hose Upgrade.
German-made, CNC-machined aluminum intercooler, powder-coated black, with ~50% more frontal area and ~2× core volume vs stock—delivering cooler intake temps and reduced heat soak. The prone to failure rubber hoses are replaced with superior Silicone -
Performance ECU Remap.
With improved exhaust flow and air cooling in place, the ECU can now be professionally calibrated to safely achieve 175 bhp / 420 Nm with stable operating temperatures. -
Heavy-Duty Clutch.
HD clutch system with high friction components and uprated bearings, plus a stronger one-piece MT82 output shaft—delivering smoother engagement, reduced chatter, and significantly improved lifespan with the newly added torque.
AUDIO SYSTEM
A premium, factory-integrated upgrade designed to look original—while delivering modern features and dramatically improved sound.

NAS-style rear tubular step bumper adds true rear protection and a functional loading step, finished in black powder coat for corrosion resistance. Includes a 2” square receiver for trailers and bike racks.

Rear spare tire swing-away carrier transfers the tire’s weight off the door and to the frame. This reduces rear door stress, minimizing hinge wear, and eliminates common door rattle.

All Puma Defenders are factory-equipped with a 6-speed manual. For a more effortless, daily-friendly driving experience, we offer a manual-to-automatic conversion using a brand new Land Rover 4-speed automatic transmission.
The conversion includes a matched leather centre console, trimmed to suit your selected interior.
CORVETTE LS3 & GM AUTOMATIC UPGRADE

For clients who want true modern performance, this is our Ultimate Signature Build. We replace the original diesel drivetrain with a brand-new GM LS3 6.2L V8 paired to a GM 6L80E 6-speed automatic—delivering 430 horsepower with effortless cruising, confident passing power, and smooth, stress-free shifting.
Supplied new through GM and backed by factory warranty, this proven powertrain—famous for its reliability and serviceability—offers the ideal balance of performance and everyday dependability in a classic Defender.

Available now and already located at our Squamish shop, this Defender is the perfect starting point for a Pacific Off-Road Signature Build. It is and exceptional original, one-owner Defender in outstanding condition. Original black paint with zero rust, this is a true garage-kept, bone-stock example—exactly the calibre we look for, and increasingly difficult to find.
Rare XS trim (top factory specification) with heated half-leather seats, electric windows, central locking, heated windscreen, ABS, and air conditioning. Configured with seven legal seats.

Build Availability & Reservations
A fully equipped Signature build is the ideal way to experience a Defender. If you’d prefer a specific colour—or a different variant such as a Defender 90, 110 Crew Cab, or 130 truck—we can source the right vehicle for you and include it in our next shipment. We import only pristine examples, approximately 12 per year. We can transform any of our imports into a Signature or Ultimate specification.
